Halfway to Christmas

I can't wait! Don't get me wrong... I love the summer, but nothing beats the Christmas season for me (Of course, I get both in the southern hemisphere... maybe I should re-locate the HQ to Auckland or Sydney...). And we're half-way to Christmas 2008! I received the mid-summer update for the "Naughty & Nice" list. I am sorry to say, it wasn't pretty. The Naughty side of the ledger is up 7.2% worldwide. That's the single largest increase in the past 4 decades. The good news is that if you are one of those folks... and I'm pretty sure you know you are... you still have some time to change course. For kids, just focus on obeying your parents! My dad used to always say that obeying meant 'doing the right thing, at the right time, and with the right-heart'. And for adults on that list... if you'd simply start focusing on others needs and not your own, the rest will take care of itself. So there you have it... two simple ways to get back on my Nice list.

I have to apologize for such a long time between my posts. I've been all over the world, just trying to help where I can. It seems there has been so much tragedy in the past month or so. The typhoon in Myanmar, the earthquake in China, the earthquake in Japan, flooding in the US, flooding in southern China.... its going to take all of us getting involved to help these millions of affected families. I encourage you to look into what you can do.
